COVID-19

We take your health and safety into account at every stage of our process.

This has been a very challenging time, of course not just for the hospitality industry but for us all and we are delighted to now be able to welcome guests back to Trewornan Manor from May 17th.

As you will no doubt appreciate, we are operating under new guidance and for regular guests, you will see some minor changes, but we are hopeful that these will not detract from your stay with us.

During Your Stay

You will find a complimentary hand sanitiser in your room for you to use whilst here and out and about during your stay. You will also find hand sanitiser conveniently located around the house for your use. Please feel free to use as often as you wish. As per the current guidelines, all guests are required to wear face coverings whilst moving around the house. You do not need to wear them when you are seated for food and or drinks.

Cleaning & Housekeeping

Prior to COVID19, housekeeping and cleanliness has always been one of our top priorities with each guest room cleaned for at least one hour each day and communal areas receiving at least three hours cleaning each day. Although Government guidance is to minimise time in guest rooms, we have consulted with our housekeeping team and we have made the collective decision to continue to clean guest rooms on a daily basis, If you would rather we didn’t access your room then please let one of the team know.

We will spend more time cleaning the public areas each day, ensuring all light switches, door handles and any touch points are disinfected regularly.

We have undertaken a full risk assessment for our team, and they will be wearing the appropriate PPE when undertaking housekeeping tasks.

Personal Responsibility

Everyone will have a different perspective on the COVID19 pandemic, but we all have a part to play in risk mitigation and therefore we politely ask that you adhere to the latest guidance on social distancing. We want all our guests to have a relaxing and enjoyable stay whilst respecting other guests’ personal space.

We have disposable gloves and masks available should you feel you want to take any out with you for the day. We are asking guests to wear a form of face covering during their stay when walking around communal areas, once seated they are fine to remove it.
