COVID-19

We take your health and safety into account at every stage of our process.

This has been a very challenging time, of course not just for the hospitality industry but for us all and we are delighted to now be able to welcome guests back to Trewornan Manor.

As you will no doubt appreciate, we are operating under new guidance and for regular guests, you will see some minor changes, but we are hopeful that these will not detract from your stay with us.

During Your Stay

We all have a role to play in ensuring the house remains a safe and comfortable environment for everyone. To help with this you will find more details below regarding how we are managing our housekeeping.

Our breakfast service will continue to be a relaxing experience for everyone with as little change as possible. Breakfast service will remain between 8am and 10am as usual and it will now be a full table service.
This is the one area that for all accommodation providers is proving to be the most challenging in terms of ensuring that guests receive the same experience whilst following all the guidelines so your co-operation and patience would be very much appreciated.

We have made many other small but significant changes to ensure your stay is as safe and enjoyable as possible. You will find a complimentary hand sanitiser in your room for you to use whilst here and out and about during your stay. You will also find larger bottles of hand sanitiser conveniently located around the house for your use. Please feel free to use as often as you wish.

Cleaning & Housekeeping

Prior to COVID19, cleanliness has always been one of our top priorities with each guest room being cleaned for at least one hour each and every day and communal areas receiving at least three hours cleaning on a daily basis.

Under guidance from the Government and UK Hospitality, the advice is that for the foreseeable future we, understandably, minimise our time in guest rooms during their stays to reduce the risk of any possible cross-contamination. Therefore, we shall not be, as a default, cleaning rooms during guest stays.

All rooms will, of course, be deep cleaned thoroughly after each check out. However, we will, of course, happily clean your room should you wish us to do so during your stay. Please just ask one of the team in the morning and we will ensure it is cleaned that day for you.

For guests that are happy for their room not to be cleaned, but may require fresh towels, please place anything you wish to be changed in the baskets provided and leave outside your door. We will leave clean towels for you in the basket on your return.

As you would expect we will also be spending more time cleaning the public areas, continually ensuring all light switches, door handles and any other touch points are disinfected regularly to protect you and our team.

We have undertaken a full risk assessment for our team, looking at all aspects of our cleaning, to ensure everything is covered and all concerns considered, and they will be wearing the appropriate PPE when undertaking housekeeping tasks.

Personal Responsibility

Everyone will have a different perspective on the COVID19 pandemic, but we all have a part to play in risk mitigation and therefore we politely ask that you adhere to the latest guidance on social distancing.

We want all our guests to have a relaxing and enjoyable stay whilst respecting other guests personal space. We have disposable gloves and masks available should you feel you want to take any out with you for the day. We are not asking guests to wear any form of face coverings during their stay but if you feel more comfortable, then please do so.

If you feel unwell during your stay, we ask that you inform one of the team immediately and we can help deal with this appropriately. If you are feeling unwell prior to your arrival, we ask that you do not travel and remain home whilst seeking the right medical advice.
